Taiko or literally "big drum" in Japanese is one of the main musical intruments in Japan. It varies in size and shape, from the loud, earth-shaking resonance of the Odaiko, the time-keeping rhythm of the Shime Taiko and the Nagado Taiko, the "standard" drum.
These Taiko are made in New-Zealand, the skin is made with 100% NZ cow hide and the body is made either from barrels or from scratch to match your requirements.
